Kristin Mott is a twenty-year veteran in the alternatives space, with deep experience serving institutional investors across hedge fund, private equity, real asset, real estate, credit, and hybrid investments. Prior to founding Amberlake Capital, she served as Managing Director of Marketing and Investor Relations for Seamax Capital Management and MC Asset Management Americas Ltd., a wholly owned subsidiary of Mitsubishi Corporation. She previously led investor relations efforts for Arrowhawk Capital Partners and DKR Capital Partners, institutional multi-strategy alternative investment firms. Earlier in her career, she served as President of The Mott Group, a strategic communications consultancy for hedge funds.

 

Kristin is recognized for her long-standing, strategic relationships across the institutional investment community. Her approach emphasizes thoughtful, value-add connections between managers and allocators, resulting in highly targeted and efficient capital introductions.

 

She graduated from the University of Minnesota and is a frequent speaker at industry events. She was recognized with the Excellence in Private Equity Award by Markets Media.

 

Kristin actively leads within the investment community, serving as:

• Board Member and Chair of the Membership and Impact Committee for 100 Women in Finance

• Board Member and Chair of the Connecticut Committee for the Regional Planning Association (RPA)

 

In addition to her professional commitments, Kristin is a mother of two and an elected member of the Representative Town Meeting (RTM) in Westport, Connecticut.
